This is just too funny.
I love Dave Hill's photographic style; through photographic technique, lighting and a little Photoshop (but mostly technique and lighting), he creates some fantastic High Dynamic Range (HDR) images.
The other day, I discovered a couple of scripts for The Gimp that allow me to, well, fake it.
What that means is that I can take an image like this:

and turn it in to something like this:

I've written about this a couple of times before.
After some suggestions from Brett at Circle Six Design, I've re-revisited the script and eliminated the need for anything but the Applescript itself.
Simply copy the script (download from here; instructions in the zip file) to ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/{application folder} (e.g., ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Twitterrific or ~/Libary/Applications/Firefox)
